Not only that, they volunteered to be your guinea pig again and again. Emily Henning is that person for me. She is my sister-in-law but also one of my greatest cheer leaders. She is my official muse. Emily is always down to let me test a lighting kit, crazy technique, or my shiny new idea. I hope you have amazing friends like Emily! That being said I want to walk you through the process of working with me to create awesome photos. Since Em has given me permission to share details from her session, she will be my example.
Step 1. Click on the Book a Shoot tab (contact tab on mobile) of my website.
Then schedule your 15 minute complimentary consultation. This is a chance for both of us to make sure we are a good fit for each other. You let me know what you are looking for and I will tell you if I’m the right person for the job. If you don’t think we are a good fit for any reason don’t worry about hurting my feelings. I only take on a few clients every month and I want it to be an amazing experience for both of us.
Step 2. If you are ready to book a session with me there will be a 695 dollar booking fee.
We will discuss your ideas/hopes for your photos even further at this point.Get inspired by your favorite movies, music, etc. Lets create some amazing images together!
I will scout locations to meet your needs. Understand that if you want outdoor photos there is a chance we will have to reschedule because of bad weather. If you have a hard set day you need to do photos it’s better to pick an indoor location or we can use a studio.
Step 3. We will chat back and forth about the details of your shoot.
What do you have/need for the shoot? I will help you source pieces. There is no finder’s fee but you will be billed for any items I buy for your session.
I will also give you a beauty guideline that helps you prepare for your photo shoot.
Step 4. Day of the shoot I will lead you around and help you get into character or just look your best.
I get super excited about all the details especially when we do a themed session! A session typically takes 1-2 hours (depends on # of looks\locations you choose to do).
Step 5. Typical turn around time is 2 weeks. As soon as your photos are edited we will schedule a viewing session.
You will get to view your photos and choose which ones you want to keep. My packages start at 2k and go up from there. Most people spend around 3k with us but what you buy is entirely up to you.
