We really enjoyed the Fairy-Tale Feast!

 

This is the first year that Greenfield Village has hosted this event. Their next and final openings this year will be October 25th -28th. Hopefully you can still get tickets if you are interested. If you are still trying to decide if this is the event for you keep reading and watching below.

First hop on a horse drawn wagon that will take you from the entrance of Greenfield Village to  the restaurant, A Taste of History.

Once you arrive at the restaurant you will be greeted with music and souvenir plates.

Then head straight for the food!

The meal caters to children with hotdogs, mac & cheese, and a skeleton meat loaf. My favorite was the chili.

I would get there early if you want to spend time with the characters.

They don’t stay the entire time because they also take part in the trick or treating path. They did a really good job portraying the characters. My daughter didn’t want to go anywhere near the characters so I just included a still from one of the videos. I didn’t feel right about posting a video of them with other people’s children. My daughter did enjoy doing the halloween craft.

Your ticket also includes the trick or treating path afterwards. I plan to do a separate post just about that.
